2022 -pokazy lotnicze „AirPower”, Zeltweg, Austria
Na zdjęciu prezentuję się samolot EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon S (7L-WC) należący do austriackich sił powietrznych stacjonujący na co dzień w Zeltweg AB w specjalnym malowaniu „Austrian Tiger” przygotowanym na coroczne spotkanie eskadr tygrysich NATO Tiger Meet.
Eurofighter Typhoon – dwusilnikowy myśliwiec wielozadaniowy zbudowany w układzie kaczki. Jest zdolny do osiągania prędkości naddźwiękowych bez użycia dopalaczy (supercruise), co zwiększa jego efektywność w walce.
NATO Tiger Meet – coroczny zlot samolotów wojskowych państw NATO lub państw uczestniczących w programie Partnerstwo dla Pokoju, którego celem są wspólne ćwiczenia służące wzajemnej wymianie doświadczeń i doskonalenie współpracy podczas wykonywaniu wspólnych zadań. W ćwiczeniach mogą uczestniczyć samoloty tych jednostek, które w swoim godle posiadają symbol tygrysa lub pumy. Polskę reprezentuję w ramach tych spotkań 6. Eskadra Lotnictwa z 31. Bazy Lotnictwa Taktycznego Poznań – Krzesiny.

September 2022 – „AirPower” Air Show, Zeltweg, Austria
The photo presents an EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon S (7L-WC) belonging to the Austrian Air Force, which is based at Zeltweg Air Base. Here it is shown in a special “Austrian Tiger” colouring prepared for the annual NATO Tiger Meet.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine multirole fighter aircraft built in a canard-delta configuration. It is capable of achieving supersonic speeds without the use of afterburners (supercruise), which greatly enhances its effectiveness in combat.
The NATO Tiger Meet is an annual event gathering various military aircrafts from NATO member states and countries participating in the Partnership for Peace program. The objective is to conduct joint exercises to share operational experience and improve cooperation during combined missions.
Only the units whose emblems feature a tiger or puma are allowed to participate in exercises.
Poland is represented at these events by the 6th Tactical Squadron from the 31st Tactical Air Base in Poznań–Krzesiny.
